Aishwarya Rai's New Song 'PS-1' Released, 'Chol' Seen Celebrating Victory
After Bahubali, another South film 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' (PS-1) is preparing to rock. The history of the mighty Chola Empire of Tamil will be seen in the film. The teaser of the film was released a few days back. Now on Friday, the second song of the film Chola- Chola has also been released. This song tells the story of the celebration of victory after the war.

The song Chola Chola has been composed by AR Rahman. The lyrics of the song are penned by Elango Krishnan, who has also written the first song of the film Ponni Nadhi. Satyaprakash D, VM Mahalingam, and Nakul Abhyankar have crooned the number. The song has been choreographed by Vidya Subramaniam with over 300 artists on the sets. However, only the audio has been included in the just-released song. The video will be released along with the film.
Story of 'Ponniyin Selvan 1'
The story of the film PS-1 is based on the Chola Empire of Tamil Nadu. Which are counted in the major dynasty of the tenth century. PS-1 will show the power struggle among the successors of this dynasty. Which is bringing an interesting film covering many untold incidents from the pages of history.
Ponnyan Selvan stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Vikram, Jairam Ravi, and Karthi in lead roles. The film is being made in two parts. The first part of which i.e. PS-1 will knock in theaters on 30 September this year. Along with Hindi, the film will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
Let us tell you that this will be Aishwarya's fourth film with Mani Ratnam. Before 'Ponniyin Selvan', Aishwarya worked with Mani Ratnam in 'Iruvar' in 1997, 'Guru' in 2007, and 'Raavan' in 2010. Iruvar was the first film of Aishwarya's career. At the same time, Vikram and Aishwarya were earlier seen sharing the screen together in the film Raavan.
