Another trouble amid cold wave: rain alert in many states including Delhi, strong winds will blow

Weather Update: According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain in many areas of Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh and Haryana from 23 to 26 January. Along with this, cold winds can blow in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and West Uttar Pradesh.

Severe cold and cold waves continue in North India. However, there has been some relief in the last two days. But, in the meantime, another trouble is about to come. Rain warnings have been issued in many states including the country's capital Delhi. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur over the entire North India including Delhi-NCR. Along with this, cold winds can blow in the capital Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and western Uttar Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, people will get relief from the cold in Delhi today and the weather will also be clear. There will be a feeling of cold but there will be no chill. According to IMD, the minimum and maximum temperature in the national capital Delhi from January 23 to 27 is expected to be around 11 degrees and 22 degrees Celsius respectively. During this time it will be cloudy, there will drizzle and strong winds will blow.

Uttar Pradesh received light rain on Friday due to the effect of a Western Disturbance. According to IMD, there is a possibility of cloudy weather in many districts of UP on Saturday as well. An increase in the maximum temperature may also be recorded. The Meteorological Department has forecast for UP that on January 23, there may be light rain at isolated places. Light to moderate rains may occur over a wide area from January 24 to 27.

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain and snow along with heavy rain at a few places are possible over Western Himalayas in the next 24 hours. Light rain may occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Northwest UP, South Coast of Andhra Pradesh and North Coastal Tamil Nadu. The minimum temperature is likely to increase further over Northwest and Central India.

In the last 24 hours, light rain occurred at one or two moderate places over eastern parts of Haryana. Apart from this, light rain has occurred in parts of North Punjab, North Rajasthan, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and the North Coast of Tamil Nadu. Day and night temperatures increased further over the northwest, central and eastern parts of the country.

During the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain and snow occurred over Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir and Uttarakhand. According to the IMD, an active Western Disturbance is expected to affect the western Himalayan region till January 26 and its effect will be seen over the northwestern plains from December 23 to 25. Light to moderate rain and snowfall may occur till January 22.
