National Health Mission has given a new extension to its flagship scheme Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. In order to facilitate faster OPD registration, National Health Mission has introduced QR codes under the new service at Lady Hardinge Medical College and Smt Sucheta Kriplani Hospital under a pilot project. In this project, the booking of OPD has to be done after reaching the hospital and scanning the QR code.
Required information to be filled
Fill in the necessary information like name, age, father's name, address and mobile number, etc. and your number will be taken for OPD. Under this, the patient now has to come directly to the hospital and instead of waiting for a long time, send anyone to the hospital. The details of the patient have to be filled in by scanning the QR code and now the number will be added soon. This pilot project has been announced by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The patient will be exposed to the updates of the moment
In this, all the information about the condition of the patients will reach the doctor in advance. At what time and with which doctor your number is attached, the information will reach the patient. Not only this, but after how many patients and in about how many minutes you have to meet the doctor, this countdown will also continue. After seeing each patient, the data in the app will be updated.
More patients can be seen in less time
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has said that the benefit of this facility will be available to both new and old patients. If the information continues to reach both parties, then the time will be less. In this way more and more patients can be seen in the shortest possible time.
Any ABDM-enabled app can be used
This QR code scanning service will also be OTP based. For this, the Aura app, Arogya Setu app, or any ABDM-enabled app can be used on the phone. National Health Mission CEO Dr. RS Sharma said that this service has been started primarily so that a maximum number of people can get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. It will be expanded soon.
