The victim has also accused the police of shielding the accused, although this may also be true as she is Sonia Gandhi's personal secretary, then it is possible to save her. The victim says that even after two months of the complaint, private secretary PP Madhavan has not been arrested yet. The woman is clearly telling that pressure is being made on her to change her statement and withdraw the case. Now the woman is pleading for justice.

The victim woman told that she had also lodged an FIR on June 26 at the Uttam Nagar police station in Delhi. It was told in the FIR that her husband used to put up hoardings in the Congress office. He had died two years ago. After this he approached PP Madhavan for the job. On January 21, 2022, Madhavan invited the woman to his house for the first time. Madhavan tells him that he is divorced from his wife. After this the woman met Madhavan several times. During this, many times the woman has said in the FIR about being coerced with her.
