An important meeting of the BJP is being held at Union Home Minister Amit Shah's house in Delhi regarding the Chief Minister's selection and cabinet formation of the northeastern state of Tripura. In this meeting, brainstorming is going on regarding the new Chief Minister of Tripura. BJP has got 33 seats in Tripura. Manik Saha has resigned from the post of Chief Minister. Along with Tripura, the faces of the ministers of the Meghalaya and Nagaland governments are also being discussed. On March 7 and 8, new governments are to be sworn in in these states. In this meeting, along with Amit Shah, other leaders including BJP National President JP Nadda and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma are included.

BJP has won again in Tripura, while in Nagaland and Meghalaya BJP is again going to form a government with the alliance. In Meghalaya, the BJP is again going to form a government in alliance with the NPP, which had parted ways before the elections.

The BJP has returned to power in Nagaland for the second time. According to media reports, the government formed by the (National Democratic Progressive Party) NDPP-BJP alliance will take oath on March 7, in which Prime Minister Modi will also participate. Although no one from the coalition side has staked claim to form the government, it has been made clear from the BJP side that the NPP president will continue to be the chief minister.
