Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch its much-awaited compact SUV, the XUV200, in India. The company has not yet announced an official launch date, but reports suggest that the vehicle is likely to hit the Indian market soon. The XUV200 is expected to be priced between Rs. 8-12 lakhs.

According to reports, the Mahindra XUV200 will come equipped with a host of features, including a 360-degree camera, voice command support, a sunroof, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car will also feature LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Under the hood, the Mahindra XUV200 is likely to be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces 110 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is expected to be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The XUV200 is based on the same platform as the Mahindra XUV300, which was launched in India last year. The XUV200, however, will be a smaller and more affordable version of the XUV300.
