Group A features Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants, while Group B features Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. All the teams will play two matches each against the other four teams of their group. While two matches will be played against any one team of the other group and one match each will be played against the other 4 teams.
