Salman Khan has disclosed that Satish Kaushik had discussed the sequel of 'Tere Naam' before his death. Satish Kaushik recently died due to a heart attack in Delhi. Bollywood veteran actor-director Satish Kaushik passed away on 8 March. His sudden demise has come as a shock to his family and the film industry. Salman Khan, a close friend and colleague of the late actor, condoled Satish's death by sharing a message on social media. Recently, during an interview, Salman revealed that Satish had discussed with him the sequel of 'Tere Naam' before his death. He had said that he will write the script for the sequel of the film 'Tere Naam' and will also direct it. But now he is not among us. For which I am very sorry.

Satish Kaushik and Salman Khan have a special bond. One of Salman's biggest hits and one of his best performances was the 2003 film Tere Naam, directed by Satish Kaushik. Many years later, Kaushik also discussed the idea of Tere Naam 2 with Salman Khan.

Talking to the media during the promotion of his most awaited upcoming film 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', Salman revealed that 20 years back, Satish Kaushik came up with the idea of just one line for the film. Had discussed and Salman then thought that this is a super idea. Salman also mentioned that he had a good relationship with Kaushik even before his death.

Kaushik had completed the shooting of Salman's film and also completed the shooting of his brother Arbaaz Khan's film. Not only this, Kaushik was able to complete the script of the third project under Salman's supervision. Kaushik was going to direct this film. After the trip to Delhi, Kaushik was supposed to go for Reiki for the third film but unfortunately, he died due to a heart attack in Delhi itself.

Salman further revealed that they had discussed a plot for the sequel of 'Tere Naam' and what would have happened in the story after 20 years. He had shared the plot with Satish Kaushik and the 'Mr.India' actor or rather Calendar had promised Salman that he would start working on the script soon. Controlling his emotions, Salman said that he would definitely think of making a sequel to Tere Naam sometime in the future.
