A case of cheating of crores of rupees has come to light from Bollywood actor-director Deepak Tijori. The actor, who rose to fame with films like 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar' and 'Aashiqui', has filed a complaint with the Mumbai Police against his co-producer Mohan Nadar. The actor has accused Mohan Nadar of cheating him of Rs 2.6 crore. Together they were producing a thriller film. Mumbai Police has registered an FIR on the complaint of Deepak Tijori at Amboli Police Station and they have started an investigation in this regard.

According to media reports, the Mumbai Police has registered a case under sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). According to the report, Deepak Tijori had lodged a written complaint 10 days ago on behalf of Mohan Nadar for non-payment of money. Mohan Nader has come into the limelight after being accused of embezzlement of money.

It is reported that Deepak Tijori and Mohan Nadar signed a contract in 2019 for the film 'Tipsy'. For the same film, Mohan took Rs 2.6 crore from Deepak but did not complete the film. When the actor asked the accused for money, the check issued by him for the payment kept bouncing. Senior Inspector Bandopant Bansode of Amboli police station said that no one has been arrested in this case so far. The police are probing the matter deeply.

Last month, trade expert Taran Adarsh also shared an update on the film on Instagram. Then it was reported that Deepak Tijori would direct the adventure-thriller film 'Tipsy'. Taran Adarsh wrote, "Deepak Tijori has directed and also acted in this adventure-thriller film. The film will have five actresses.

While talking about the work front, Deepak Tijori, who made his debut with Mahesh Bhatt's film 'Aashiqui', has worked in many superhit films in the 90s. He has worked in many films like 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar', 'Khiladi', 'Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa', 'Badshah', 'Vaastav', 'Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge' and 'Raja Natwarlal'. Apart from acting, Deepak Tijori has previously directed films like 'Oops', 'Fareb', 'Fox' and 'Do Lafzon Ki Kahani'. Soon Deepak will once again be seen on the big screen with the film 'Ittar'.
