PM Modi will go to West Bengal tomorrow, will flag off Vande Bharat Express in Kolkata

PM Modi will visit West Bengal Friday, 30 December will be very auspicious for West Bengal. Before the new year, PM Modi will give many gifts to West Bengal. Will lay foundation stones and dedicate to national projects worth over Rs 7,800 crore. Also, in Kolkata, PM Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express running from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit West Bengal on Friday. PM Modi will give many gifts to West Bengal during his visit. PM Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express running from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri. This will be the seventh Vande Bharat Express in the country. Along with this, he will also inaugurate the Joka-Taratla section of the Purple Line of Kolkata Metro. Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stones of projects worth more than Rs 7,800 crore and dedicate them to the nation.

PM Modi will chair the second meeting of the National Ganga Council in Kolkata. He will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation several sewerage infrastructure projects worth over Rs 2,550 crore in West Bengal. Apart from this, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of several rail projects including laying the foundation stone for the redevelopment of New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and dedicate it to the nation. Along with this, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee will also inaugurate the National Institute of Water and Sanitation.

PM Modi will flag off the new Vande Bharat Express train running from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri. With the running of this train, the journey from Howrah to the New Jalpaiguri route will be reduced by about three hours.

By the way, the distance from Howrah to New Jalpaiguri is 564 km. Till now 14 trains run. On average, it takes about 10.45 hours. But now it will take only 7.45 hours.

The blue and white coloured Vande Bharat Express train will stop at only three stations – Barsoi, Malda and Bolpur. This train will have 16 coaches. This train will leave Howrah station at 6 am and reach New Jalpaiguri at 1:30 pm. As per the timetable of Eastern Railway, the train will run six days in a week.
