During the International Exhibition Festival on Tuesday, Rajasthan's chief minister, Ashok Gehlot, emphasized the state's economic expansion and noted that it is now ranked second in terms of economic development.
CM Gehlot said that Rajasthan is going ahead economically while speaking at the State Level Export Awards and Rajasthan International Exhibition Festival in Jodhpur. "According to the official statistics, Rajasthan is at number two in terms of economic development," Gehlot remarked.
During the event, the chief minister made four significant announcements to support exports.
The annual Rajasthan International Expo will take place in Jodhpur. At Jodhpur, a Handicraft Directorate (Centre) will be established. A permanent building will be built in Boranada, Jodhpur, to host an annual exhibition, and a Primary Health Clinic will be established to provide medical services to the locals who work there.
The state's export facilities now operate in a better atmosphere, the chief minister stated while discussing the subject. With a surge in exports, the state is prospering. It's encouraging to see more women working in the export industry. By effectively managing things, they are significantly boosting exports.
Speaking specifically on the Micro, Small and Medium Businesses (MSMEs) program, CM Gehlot said, "More than 16,000 industrial units have been established so far as a result of the MSME strategy."
"The MSME Establishment and Facilitation Act waives the need for any kind of government license for a period of five years. This will allow for a five-year easing in the requirements for obtaining numerous required licences to launch any industry. With this clause, the number of tiny units has grown, he continued.
Gehlot continued by describing the state's robust infrastructure, saying, "Thanks to the state's strong infrastructure, Rajasthan is exporting in different industries, including Handicrafts, Agriculture, Engineering Products, and Gems & Jewellery. The construction of the refinery and petrochemicals complex in Barmer and the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor would result in the development of thousands of units.
"In every subdivision, the State Government is building the RIICO Industrial Area. Employment and entrepreneurship will rise as a result, he continued.
The Chief Minister also went to many booths and asked questions about the goods on display at the exhibition. Also, he inspired business owners, exporters, and purchasers.
