Show-case of country's tribal culture will be seen in Delhi from today, PM Modi will inaugurate Aadi Mahotsav
Aadi Mahotsav 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Aadi Mahotsav 2023 in the capital Delhi today. The event is being organized with the aim of showcasing India's tribal art-culture, craft, style and traditional art at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Aadi Mahotsav today, Thursday 16 February, at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi. Tribal culture, craft, food, commerce and traditional art will be displayed in this programme. Shree Anna, produced by the tribal communities, will be the focal point of the programme. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Modi has been continuously taking various steps for the welfare of the tribal population of the country. Along with this, he has also been giving due respect to the contribution of the tribal community in the progress and development of the country. As part of these efforts to reveal the tribal culture on the national stage, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 'Aadi Mahotsav' on February 16 at 10:30 am at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi.
Aadi Mahotsav is an event celebrating tribal culture, crafts, cuisine, commerce and traditional arts. It is an annual initiative of the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED) under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. This year it is being organized from 16 to 27 February at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in Delhi.
The program will showcase the rich and diverse heritage of tribal communities across the country. For this, more than 200 stalls will be set up at the venue. Around one thousand tribal artisans will participate in the festival.
International Year of Nutritious Cereals is being celebrated from the year 2023, with which handicrafts, handlooms, pottery, jewellery etc. will also be attractions. Shree Anna, produced by the tribal communities, has been kept at the center of the festival.
Around 1000 tribal artisans and artists from 28 states will participate in the 11-day Aadi Mahotsav fair. Tribal cooks from 13 states will add flavour to the millet. Celebrating the spirit of tribal culture crafts, cuisine, trade and traditional arts, Aadi Mahotsav is an initiative of the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
