The 5th match of the Asia Cup was played between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Bangladesh scored 183 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka's team scored 184 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. In this way, Sri Lanka won this match by two wickets. This match was very important for both teams. In the do-or-die match, both the teams put in a lot of effort to win but in the end, Sri Lanka won a big victory. Sri Lanka's next match will now be against Afghanistan.
