The budget session 2023 of the Parliament continues. The country's budget was presented on 1 February. And now the discussion on the general budget is going on in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The opposition is aggressively attacking the government. And is targeting the government on many important questions. In this heated debate, PM Narendra Modi replied to the opposition in the Lok Sabha. But in view of the opposition's heated attitude, the BJP has issued a whip to all its MPs in the Lok Sabha to remain present in the house till Monday i.e. 13th February. In this three-line whip issued by the BJP, the party has directed all its MPs in the Lok Sabha to remain present in the house for the remaining days of the first phase of the budget session, i.e. till February 13. In fact, the discussion on the General Budget 2023-2024 is going on in the Lok Sabha and therefore the BJP wants him to be present in the House with full force during the discussion.

On Wednesday, during the ongoing discussion on the budget in the House, an uncomfortable situation had arisen for the BJP and the government when the proceedings of the House had to be adjourned due to non-completion of the quorum in the House.

The budget session of Parliament will begin on January 31 and continue till April 6. In this budget session 2023, the Parliament will run for 66 days, in which there will be 27 sittings. Meanwhile, there will be a holiday in the budget session from February 14 to March 12.

This budget session is to be held in two phases. The first phase of the session began on January 31 and will continue till February 13. However, on behalf of many political parties, in the BAC meeting of Lok Sabha, there was also a demand to end the first phase on February 10 instead of February 13. After this, the second part will start on 13 March.
