Intervening in the Maharashtra-Karnataka border dispute, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held discussions with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai in New Delhi on Wednesday. However, BJP MP Udayanraje Bhosale is not satisfied with Amit Shah's mediation efforts.

Talking to the media in Satara, the BJP leader said that such discussion or mediation should be done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They should invite prominent political leaders and representatives of organizations from those states and explain their position, otherwise, only politics can happen and people will be disappointed.

BJP's Rajya Sabha member Udayanraje Bhosale has raised questions about his own party keeping his opinion, due to which speculation has intensified in the political corridors of the state. He said that it was expected that there would be regionalization according to the language, but it did not happen. A Mahajan committee was formed on the border dispute.

Udayanraje said “He could not do this work. They didn't have the strength or the willpower. Because of your politics, the progress of the people of the border areas is being blocked. It was necessary for the Prime Minister to mediate on this issue.”

Bhosale, a descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, further said that at that time it was decided that the state would be created according to the language. But didn't it happen? This is common sense. Don't know why these people call commonsense uncommon, they don't understand. The committee formed under the chairmanship of a person named Mahajan did not succeed. Or they didn't have the authority, they didn't have the intellectual capacity or they didn't have the will.

Udayanraje has said that the head of the Center is the Prime Minister. That's why the Prime Minister should invite prominent political people, parties and organizations and tell them. People are getting upset about your politics. Is the development of the people living on the border getting blocked? Whether they are from Maharashtra or Karnataka. What is their fault? Will you think about humanity or not, or humanity itself has ended?
