Omicron's sub-variant BF.7 is wreaking havoc in China. According to media reports, 10 lakh cases are coming daily in China's Zhejiang province alone. Due to the ever-increasing cases of Corona, there has been a shortage of beds in the hospitals there. People have to wander to get treatment. Seeing the fast-growing corona in China, the Government of India has also been alerted, under which RT-PCR test has been made mandatory for all passengers coming from other countries including China, Japan, USA, Bangkok, and South Korea. Along with this, the Central Government has also written a letter to the State Governments asking them to make various arrangements to prevent Corona.

Meanwhile, experts have claimed that CCMB director Vinay K Nandikuri has claimed that Corona's variant is BF.7, which is a sub-variant of Omicron. This does not pose a serious threat to India. He says that Indian people have developed immunity against Omicron, so it will not pose any serious threat to the people here.

Vinay K Nandikuri, director of CCMB (Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology), along with his claim, has advised people to be vigilant and careful to prevent corona. He said that there is a highly infectious variant, which can infect even those people who have been vaccinated. However, the severity of the infection is not as severe as it used to be with Delta. According to media reports, four cases of coronavirus BF.7 variants have been reported in India.
