Finally, the Rafale deal between India and France has been completed. The last and 36th fighter jet Rafale landed on Indian soil on Thursday. There was a deal between India and France for a total of 36 Rafale fighter jets and now India has got all 36 Rafales. Here Rafale took a quick (enroute sip) fuel from an Air Force tanker and then landed in India.

According to the information, a squadron of Rafale fighter jets will monitor the western border and northern border with Pakistan. While the other squadron will monitor India's eastern border area. Defence experts also believe that with the completion of the Rafale deal, there has been a big increase in the strength of the Indian Air Force. Especially at a time when tensions and conflicts have erupted along the international borders with China. The 36th Rafale fighter jet, which reached India on Thursday, will soon become a part of the Air Force squadron.

Specially designed and built for India, the Rafale fighter jet will have a helmet-mounted sight, radar warning receiver, flight data recorder with enough storage for 10 hours, infra-red search, track system, and tracking system for incoming missiles. TOD decoys and missile approach warning systems are included.

The Air Force recently successfully test-fired the long-range Meteor missile and the Scalp air-to-ground missile from Rafale. Hammer missile has also been included in Rafale's arsenal. Giving important information about this, an official said that this missile is capable of accurate attack at short range. Indian Air Force has shared an update with the picture of the arrival of Rafale, the world's most advanced fighter jet.

India received the first batch of five Rafale jets in July 2020 at Air Force Station Ambala. These jets were part of the 17th Squadron. Significantly, on December 15, the day the 36th Rafale landed in India, the Indian Air Force (IAF) is conducting maneuvers near the India-China border. This exercise of the Indian Air Force will continue till December 16 in the eastern sector of the country. Air bases at Tezpur, Chabua, Jorhat in Assam and Hashimara in West Bengal are likely to be activated in this exercise.
