Pano Devi told that one day she was going from home to her work. On the way, while passing near the brick kiln, the groan of a woman suffering from childbirth was heard. There she went to the woman's hut. There her husband was also sitting nearby. Both could not understand what to do. During interrogation, it was revealed that due to his financial condition, he had not even got any investigation done. He then called the ambulance.

By the time the ambulance arrived, the woman started going to the CHC, but on the way, the ambulance was delivered. Then he took good care of the woman and her newborn. This story of his has also been published in the magazine 'Ashayan' to be published across the state for the ASHA workers so that the ASHA workers across the state can read it and take inspiration.

The team from the National Health Mission (NHM) director Lucknow office had also made a documentary on him. Chief Medical Officer Dr. SP Singh said that ASHA workers are given necessary training regarding delivery so that they can take care of the woman till she is taken to the hospital.
