The Aadhar card has become an important document for Indian citizens. Today any work, government or non-government work can get stuck without Aadhaar. Therefore, you should always keep your Aadhar card updated. Recently the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) issued an alert regarding Aadhaar. If your Aadhar card is more than 10 years old. If you haven't updated it yet, get it updated immediately. Aadhaar can be updated both online and offline. If you do not update your ten-year-old Aadhaar, then much of your work may get stuck and you may also be deprived of government facilities.

UIDAI issued a statement saying that those who got their Aadhaar made ten years ago and after that have never updated it in these years. Such Aadhaar number holders are requested to get the documents updated. In this regard, the facility of document update has been provided to the Aadhaar holders along with the prescribed fee. The documents related to the Aadhaar holder's personal identity proof and address proof will have to be updated in the Aadhaar data.

UIDAI says that you will be able to update your Aadhaar online as well as by visiting the center. To update one Aadhaar online, one has to visit the MyAadhaar portal. At the same time, Aadhaar holders can also do this work by visiting the Aadhaar center. 25 for online, whereas for updates by visiting the center, a fee of Rs 50 will have to be paid.

UIDAI said that the Aadhaar number is being used to avail benefits of various government schemes and services. In such a situation, for this, the Aadhaar data will have to be updated with the latest personal details so that there is no inconvenience in Aadhaar verification. However, UIDAI has clarified that it is not mandatory to do so. Those who have updated their Aadhaar within 10 years will not need it.
