Congress Satyagraha not allowed at Rajghat, now protesting outside Gandhi Darshan Memorial

Congress is protesting after Rahul Gandhi's membership is gone. It was earlier decided that the protest would be held near the Gandhi Samadhi at Rajghat. But now the Congress is protesting outside the Gandhi Darshan memorial in front of Rajghat. A large number of Rapid Action Forces, CRPF and Delhi Police are deployed around Rajghat.

The Congress has created a hue and cry after Rahul Gandhi left the parliament. Congress party workers are protesting against the Modi government across the country today. Today Congress workers across the country are doing satyagraha to protest against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi. Satyagraha was to be held at the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi by the Congress workers in the capital Delhi, but the Delhi Police did not allow it. Citing security, Section 144 was imposed at Rajghat. After this, Congress changed its place for Satyagraha. Now party workers are protesting outside the Gandhi Darshan memorial.

Last Friday, the Surat court of Gujarat sentenced Rahul Gandhi to two years in a defamation case. After this, his MP was also snatched away. In protest against this, Congress is protesting across the country today. Earlier it was decided by the Congress party that the protest would be held at Rajghat near the Gandhi Samadhi. But now the Congress is protesting outside the Gandhi Darshan memorial in front of Rajghat. Due to not getting permission for Gandhi's tomb inside Rajghat, the stage of Congress's Sankalp Satyagraha has been set up outside Gandhi Darshan.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, party leaders Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal and other leaders reach Raj Ghat to protest against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi as a Member of Parliament. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, who reached Rajghat, said, BJP is not allowing Rahul Gandhi to speak. Rahul Gandhi is fighting for the rights of the country and the people and we will not stop. Today we are going to Gandhi Memorial and will do Satyagraha there.

The Delhi Police said in a letter that citing law and order and traffic-related reasons, the Congress's request for satyagraha was rejected. Along with this, prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC have been imposed in and around Rajghat. A senior police official said that no permission has been granted for the satyagraha and adequate security arrangements have been made. A large number of Rapid Action Forces, CRPF and Delhi Police are deployed around Rajghat. All the big leaders of Congress are gathering here for the demonstration.
