MCD elections: Delhi BJP released second promissory note, know what's new

Former BJP state president and convenor of the corporation election manifesto committee Satish Upadhyay on Friday released another promissory note for the slum dwellers of the national capital ahead of the MCD elections. Addressing the press conference, he said, BJP is collecting suggestions for the manifesto by reaching out to people through various mediums. Apart from groups related to RWAs, trade and industrial associations, youth and women, we are also directly interacting with villagers, self-employed, corporate employees etc.

So far, more than 61,000 people from the national capital have sent their suggestions through the website and WhatsApp number launched by the ministry. Satish Upadhyay said that BJP's slogan 'Sabki Delhi Sabke Suraj' is becoming very popular among the people. Based on the feedback received from the public and discussions with the party leadership, we feel that the party will once again get an opportunity to serve in the corporation. After winning the election, first of all, we will go paperless, and digitize all the services of the corporation in a better way.

By March 31, 2023, we will bring the phone app of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, through which all the services of the corporation will be easily available to the public sitting at home. After the launch of the app name My MCD App, the common man will not have to go to the corporation's office for minor work.

This is the second promissory note of the BJP. About a week ago, the saffron party (BJP) issued a 'promissory note' promising to provide houses to slum dwellers under the Jahan Jhuggi Wahan Makaan scheme. The MCD elections are to be held on December 6 and the results for 250 seats will be declared on December 7.
