Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has defended the government. At the same time, BJP's Rajya Sabha MP and former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi have targeted Nitish Kumar's government. At the same time, Congress also asked the question as to who ordered the officer regarding the lathi charge. Patna District Magistrate DM Chandrashekhar Singh has taken cognizance in the case of beating teacher candidates and insulting the national flag. Orders have been issued to investigate the matter.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi has attacked Nitish Kumar, strongly condemning the lathi charge on the students demanding teacher recruitment. He said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself is responsible for the delay in the appointment of teachers. Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Modi said that Nitish has been the Chief Minister of Bihar for 15 years. The education department was constantly with his party JDU. So they should accept their failure.

Bihar Congress has also condemned the lathi charge on teacher candidates. Congress spokesperson Asitnath Tiwari said that this incident is undemocratic. He said that these bureaucrats have started moving forward crushing democratic values. Asking for employment is neither an illegal act nor is it illegal to perform for employment. Congress asked the question as to who gave the order to the officer regarding the lathi charge.

Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh has constituted an investigation team of two-member officers, stating that it is a serious matter, in the case of the brutal beating of teacher candidates and insult to the national flag. He said that insulting the national flag was not tolerated. Chandrashekhar has ordered DDC and SP City Central to investigate ADM KK Singh who lathi-charged the candidates. DM Chandrashekhar Singh has sought an investigation report within two days.
