Bengaluru Tech Summit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the Silver Jubilee edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS-22) through teleconferencing today. It is Asia's largest technology event.

The 25th edition of Asia's biggest technology event Bengaluru Tech Summit 2022 (BTS 2022) is going to start today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this program virtually. The silver jubilee edition of the tech event is being organized with the theme 'Tech4NexGen'. Nine Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) and 20 product launches will be launched during the three-day technical event. CN Electronics, IT, BT and S&T and Higher Education Minister Ashwath Narayan inspected the preparations for the event at the iconic Bangalore Palace on Tuesday.

IT/BT Minister Dr. CN Ashwath Narayan, reviewed the preparedness on Tuesday. During this, he said that PM will address the gathering through a recorded video during the inaugural session. We are having a full physical edition of BTS after two years and delegates from 30 countries will participate in the 25th edition of the summit, he added. Nine MoUs will be signed by companies including Google and Microsoft during the summit and at least 20 products will be launched in the Karnataka pavilion.

On this occasion, over 12 start-ups from Bengaluru that have emerged as unicorns in the last year will be honoured with the 'Bengaluru Impact' award. International Exhibition is the mega attraction of the event with more than 550 exhibitors. Around 50,000 visitors are expected at the expo.

ITE and Biotech majors such as Robert Bosch, Kindril, Shell, Builder AI, Paytm, Zoho, Micron, ACT, Cash Free, Razorpay, Biocon, Accenture, Origin, Intel and Financial are participating in the exhibition. International pavilions include Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, the UK, South Korea and Denmark, according to the organizers. Nine MoUs will be signed and more than 20 products will be launched in this three-day event.
