Jammu and Kashmir: 1800 more CRPF personnel will be deployed to prevent target killing

1800 additional CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) personnel will be deployed in two districts of Poonch and Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the news agency, 8 companies of CRPF will soon be deployed from places near Jammu and Kashmir, while 10 companies are being sent from Delhi. The Central Government has taken this decision after the recent terrorist attacks in the Rajouri district, in which terrorists killed 6 people through target killing. Along with this, the news agency has informed sources that the Ministry of Home Affairs has recently received inputs regarding terrorist attacks, in view of which the government has increased the security in the valley. According to defence experts, 9 companies of CRPF have already reached Rajouri, while the remaining soldiers will soon reach Jammu and Kashmir.

Six people, including two children, were killed and several others injured in two separate terror attacks in Dangri village of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district on Sunday evening and Monday morning. About a dozen people have been reported injured in two terror attacks carried out by terrorists since Sunday evening, who are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jammu.

After this terrorist attack, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that "This is a very painful and unfortunate attack. The Center and the Jammu and Kashmir governments have resolved to wipe out terrorism. However, the deaths cannot be compensated. But I assure you all possible help to the families of those killed. We have given full freedom to the security forces and I want to assure the people that the culprits of this attack will be brought to justice soon." Along with this, Manoj Sinha has promised Rs 10 lakh compensation and jobs to the families of those killed in the terror attack. At the same time, it has been announced to give Rs 1 lakh each to 15 injured people.

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti have targeted the central government and the BJP on the question related to these terrorist attacks. He said that "Who is responsible for what is happening inside the government which has been in place for the last 4-5 years? The situation in Jammu and Kashmir is very worrying. No committee was formed at the time of the removal of 370 and 35A. Why the drama of forming a committee on providing employment to the people in Ladakh? The people of Jammu voted for the BJP, but now they are being attacked, so the BJP is watching the spectacle."
