The Enforcement Directorate will interrogate Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today. This inquiry will be into the famous illegal mining case of the state. ED has summoned Jharkhand CM Soren to appear at its office in Ranchi at 11 am. The political temperature of the state is high regarding the questioning of the Chief Minister. The meeting of the ruling UPA MLAs continues. On the other hand, the opposition party is demanding the resignation of Hemant Soren.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) workers are preparing to protest in view of Hemant Soren's appearance before the ED. In view of this, security has been increased outside the ED office. It goes on to say that the ED had called Chief Minister Hemant Soren on 3 November. But then, giving information about his busy programs, the CM had appealed to call him for questioning after the Jharkhand Foundation Day. After this, the ED has given the time of November 17 for questioning.

On the other hand, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leaders are indignant about appearing before the ED while holding the post of Chief Minister. The workers and leaders of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have prepared for the protest today. According to the information received, JMM leaders and workers will gather and protest at Morhabadi Maidan today.

CM Hemant Soren has been summoned by the ED for violation of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 and a money laundering probe related to an illegal mining case in Sahebganj district. Soren's political aide Pankaj Mishra and two other local alleged musclemen Bachchu Yadav and Prem Prakash have been arrested in this case. According to the information received, the ED has collected information related to illegal mining of about Rs 1000 crore in the state.

On the other hand, a day before Hemant Soren's appearance before the ED, a meeting of party legislators was held at the residence of Congress Legislature Party leader Alamgir Alam on Wednesday. In this, Congress MLAs said they would fight the present situation in full solidarity. After this, a meeting was also held with the MLAs of the coalition at Chief Minister Soren's residence late in the evening. A meeting of UPA MLAs has been called in Ranchi at 11 am today, in which further strategy will be discussed. After which further decision will be taken.
