All five occupants of the car have been arrested. They have been identified as Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishna, Mithu and Manoj Mittal. Police said that on inspection of the spot, it was found that after the accident, the victim got trapped under the wheels and kept dragging for a long distance.
Taking suo motu cognizance of media reports, Delhi Commission for Women has issued summons to Delhi Police. Issuing the summons, the DCW has asked to provide a copy of the FIR registered in the case, details of the accused arrested in the case, a copy of the postmortem report of the deceased and whether any sexual assault investigation has been conducted on the deceased.
On the eve of New Year, a hair-raising incident took place in the Sultanpuri police station area of outer Delhi.
