Notice to Rahul Gandhi for making 'unparliamentary' statement against PM Modi in Lok Sabha  

In the Lok Sabha on February 7, Rahul Gandhi attacked Prime Minister Modi and made several allegations. Regarding this, the Lok Sabha Secretariat has asked Rahul Gandhi to reply by February 15 on the BJP's breach of privilege notice.

Lok Sabha Secretariat has issued a notice to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. In fact, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi have filed a complaint accusing Rahul Gandhi of breach of privilege. Seeking an answer to this, the Lok Sabha Secretariat has asked Rahul Gandhi to reply by February 15. Earlier, Nishikant Dubey had demanded action against the remarks made regarding Prime Minister Modi's relationship with billionaire Gautam Adani. Dubey had termed Rahul Gandhi's statement as "misleading, derogatory and indecent".

Simultaneously, Nishikant Dubey had submitted a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, alleging that Rahul Gandhi had broken the rules by "misleading the House". At the same time, without presenting evidence, allegations of crony capitalism have been made against PM Modi.

Regarding Rahul Gandhi's statement through the letter, Nishikant Dubey has said that "besides this conduct is a clear case of contempt of the House, it is a clear violation of the privileges of the House and its members. I request you to kindly look into the breach of privilege." And take immediate action against Rahul Gandhi for contempt of the House."

Speaking in the Lok Sabha on February 7, Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of favouring the Adani Group. Rahul Gandhi said that when he was leading the Bharat Jodo Yatra from September to January, people asked him about the success of Adani and how he was able to expand his business in many areas. Along with this, Rahul Gandhi targeted Prime Minister Modi and said that between 2014 and 2022, how his net worth reached from $ 8 billion to $ 140 billion. Rahul Gandhi had asked while asking what is Adani's relation with the Prime Minister of India. After this Rahul Gandhi showed the photo of Prime Minister Modi and Adani together and said that this is a relationship.
