A two-day international conference is being organized against terrorist funding under the leadership of the Government of India, starting today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it and Home Minister Amit Shah will address the concluding session on Saturday. The No Money for Terror Ministerial Conference will be attended by representatives from 72 countries. China was invited, but its acceptance has not come. Whereas Pakistan has not been invited. This is being seen as a major effort to break the back of the terrorists.

PM Modi will inaugurate it on Friday at 11 am at the Taj Hotel. The conference will mainly discuss the topics of terror funding, and the use of formal and informal sources of money for terrorism, such as the 'Hawala' or 'Hundi' network. Apart from this, how terrorism is being funded with the help of new technology and the problems being faced in stopping it will also be discussed.

DG Dinkar Gupta informed that 450 representatives of 72 countries and multilateral organizations will participate in the No Money for Terror Ministerial Conference. There will be a total of four sessions in the two-day conference. PM Modi will discuss the latest trend of terrorist funding in the first session. In the second session, all formal and informal methods of terrorist funding will be discussed. On the second and last day, in the third session on Saturday, there will be a discussion on the use of new techniques and routes for terrorist funding. This also includes cryptocurrency and the dark web. And Home Minister Amit Shah will address the closing session on Saturday.

Pakistan and Afghanistan are not being included in the 'No Money for Terror' conference. It is believed that in view of the continuing funding of Pakistan by terrorist organizations in India, it has been decided not to invite him. The report prepared by the agencies on the sources of terror funding in India alleges Pakistan funding Kashmir, pro-Khalistan terrorism and Islamic terrorism.

The No Money for Terror conference was held in Paris in the year 2018 for the first time. The next year in 2019 it happened in Australia. At the same time, India was to host it in 2020, but it was postponed due to the Corona epidemic. After two years, now the Government of India is hosting this conference.
