Randeep Hooda goes beyond all limits to bring the character alive on screen

Randeep Hooda does very selective films. He goes out of his way to bring his character alive on screen. Be it his transformation into a skeletal body in Sarabjit or becoming a boxer in Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani, or his gypsy look in Baaghi 3, Randeep has created a distinct identity in the hearts of the audience with his characters. Now on 9th December Randeep is coming in his first OTT Debut CAT as Khabri Gurnam Singh. Randeep is seen quite intense in this web series to be streamed on Netflix. Recently, during its promotion, he gave his opinion on the debate of OTT vs cinema.

I believe people are inclined toward OTT during the pandemic. There is no such debate as OTT vs theatre, because be it movies or web shows, if the content is not good and engaging, then mere glitz will not do. I think if there is a good film, then people will prefer to watch the film in the theatre itself.

On the Boycott Bollywood trend, Randeep said, "I think the people who drive the Boycott culture or trend on Twitter are not actually the main audience watching the film or the people running Twitter." I don't think it makes any difference to them. Such trends could be related to what the makers presented and what people were actually expecting from them. Many times we also make mistakes while trying to please the audience. The moment we start making a story from our point of view, we fail to connect with the audience. The story must have strong content.
